The only thing we charge for is live AI: doubt clearance, AI practice questions, writing analysis, Idea Canvas and answer-sheet marking. Each comes with a free allowance, and Cortex Pro raises it. We publish exactly how much AI each plan includes. Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR).

There is no locked content on Cortex Desk — not a chapter, not a test, not a single lesson. Create an account and the whole library is yours. The one thing that costs us money every time you use it is live AI, so that is the one thing we meter.

Pro renews through a UPI/card AutoPay mandate. The payment sheet shows the mandate’s maximum duration (up to 10 years) — that’s the cap regulators require for AutoPay, not a lock-in. Cancel anytime from Dashboard → Billing: you won’t be charged again and you keep the larger AI allowance until your paid period ends. Your courses, tests and progress are unaffected either way — they were never part of the subscription.
Your AI allowance
This is the only part of Cortex Deskwith a limit on it. Every plan includes a set amount of AI activity, so you always know what you have — we publish the exact numbers rather than saying “unlimited” and quietly slowing you down. There are two allowances, and they are kept apart on purpose so neither can eat the other: messages for everything you type at the AI, and answers marked for the answer sheets you upload.

Most AI replies count as one message — a doubt answered, a paragraph checked, a practice question generated. A bigger job counts for more: a whole Idea Canvas map or a full answer review is 2 messages.
Answer-sheet marking is counted per answer, not per page. A one-page answer and a six-page answer each count as one, and it never spends messages or credits. One upload can carry up to 60 pages on every plan. If an evaluation fails, it counts as nothing.
Your 5-hour allowance starts with your first message and resets 5 hours later; the weekly one works the same way. Answers marked reset on the 1st of each month.
Courses, test series, the ethics RPG, the field lab, visual explainers, practice, flashcards, the atlas, the syllabus map and current affairs are unlimited on every plan and never touch any of this. Running out of AI never closes a lesson.
Pro only:a question needing today’s news runs a live web look-up, counting as 13 messages — it costs us far more than a normal answer. On Free, Cortex answers from its own knowledge instead.
Out of messages early? Your AI credits take over automatically, so you keep going. Credits are measured in the same unit — 6 credits buy one more message — top up below. Credits do not buy answers marked; that allowance is monthly and waits for the 1st. These allowances are what we currently include; if we ever need to change them we’ll say so on this page. Fair use applies — automated or shared-account use isn’t covered.
Top up AI credits
Credits are your reserve — they only start paying once a rolling message allowance above is spent, and then the AI tools that run on messages keep working: Ask Cortex, the mentors, AI practice questions, Writing Studio and Idea Canvas. (Answer-sheet marking runs on its own monthly count and never spends credits.) ₹1 = 10 credits, and 6 credits = 1 message — the same unit your allowance is measured in. They never expire.

Payments are securely processed by Razorpay. Subscriptions auto-renew — you authorise Razorpay to charge your chosen method each period until you cancel, and Razorpay notifies you before each renewal. Cancel anytime from your dashboard; you keep your Pro AI allowance until the period you’ve paid for ends, and your access to every course and test is unaffected either way.
